Warming Center Open in Hot Springs/Little Rock

 

WARMING CENTERS

THE ST. LUKES EPICSCOPAL CHURCH WILL OPEN THEIR WARMING CENTER THIS WEEKEND FROM 5 PM SUNDAY – 24 HOURS A DAY THROUGH TUESDAY AND POSSIBLY WEDNESDAY DEPENDING ON WEATHER.  THEY NEED BLANKETS, COATS, SNACK FOODS AND VOLUNTEERS TO HELP STAFF ALL HOURS.  CALL 623-1653 OR GO BY 128 SPRING STREET.  CALL KATHY RANDEL AT 538-9335 TO VOLUNTEER, TO DONATE OR FOR MORE INFORMATION.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED AT THE WARMING CENTER AT THE FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH.  IT WILL BE OPEN AT 1100 CENTRAL AVENUE FROM 7 PM TONIGHT UNTIL 7 AM TOMORROW MORNING.  THEY WILL OPERATE THAT 12 HOUR SHIFT DAILY THROUGH JANUARY 2ND.  THE AMERICAN RED CROSS IS PROVIDING BLANKETS, COTS AND PILLOWS AND ARE IN NEED OF VOLUNTEERS.  TO HELP THE RED CROSS CALL ANDREA SELLERS AT 501-623-9321
