Facebook & Rants - Nobody Cares

Ahhhh, it's time to say it. How many of you have have either posted or know of someone that tends to post a lot of negativiy on their Facebook page? Most notably, putting others down or talking about people publicly? You've seen it before a million times and it probably tends to make you roll your eyes and move on down the page.
It's downright WRONG to talk negative of your friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, etc.. There have been a number of studies done on how people who posts lots of negativity suffer from low self esteem. They're essentially attempting to get attention from others and post things to invoke a response from people. What many don't realize is that it makes them look bad. Also, the people who 'like' your post or comment on the negatives don't care as much as people think they do. It's often times a false sense of 'acting like they care.' Now, I'm not saying noone cares because many do......but it makes the poster look like a bonafide idiot. :-)
So, if this has happened to you, don't sweat it. Don't respond. Don't lose sleep over it or get depressed. Just remember, some people will hate on you no matter what. It's just the way it is. If someone hates on you then you must be doing something right. If you're one that constantly post negatives.....you may want to check laws in Arkansas. There are stiff penalties for defaming people on Facebook and your brief rant could affect you for years to come.
