Animal Services to hold $5 Rabies Drive; Garland County to offer free spay/neuter vouchers

Hot Springs Animal Services will hold a $5 Rabies Drive from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 27 in the north parking lot at First Baptist Church, 2350 Central Avenue. In cooperation with the Garland County Sheriff’s Office, free spay and neuter vouchers will be available for city and county residents. All participants must bring a photo ID or proof of residency. The Animal Services Shelter, 319 Davidson Drive, will be closed to the public on the day of the rabies drive.

 

City licenses will also be available at the drive. The annual license cost for a “non-fixed” animal is $10; a lifetime license for a “fixed” animal is $20. Microchipping will also be available for a $20 donation. For information call 262-2091.
