The Garland County Health Unit will hold a back-to-school immunization clinic on Friday, Aug. 14, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., at 1425 Malvern Ave. Appointments can be made by calling 501-624-3394.
Parents are asked to bring their child’s shot records and insurance cards with them to the appointment. If the child does not have insurance, the vaccines will be provided at no-charge.
Making sure students are up-to-date on required immunizations is an important step in back-to-school planning. Vaccinations help keep students healthy and in school, and help keep parents from having to miss work due to a sick child.
The Oaklawn Rotary will be providing hot dogs, chips and soft drinks.
