November 17 – December 31, 2018 – 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m ( Nightly)
The most celebrated outdoor light display in Arkansas for the holiday season opens at Garvan the Saturday before Thanksgiving and runs through New Year’s Eve (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas days). The Gardens will be aglow with nearly 5 million lights in a myriad of natural settings. Features include the luminescent Garden of the Pine Wind, the 50-foot tall Holiday Tree which plays holiday tunes animated to a light show, the Parterre garden on the Great Lawn, and traditional holiday scenes in the woodlands. Conclude your walking tour with free hot chocolate. The Chipmunk Café is open nightly until 9 p.m. serving soups, sandwiches, and snacks.
Check the Gardens website for free concerts and events during the 6-week event. Weekend nights are very crowded and visitors experience long wait times to park and enter the Gardens. We encourage visitors to come on Monday-Thursday nights if possible. Holiday Lights is open when it rains; the Gardens closes in the case of inclement weather that would threaten the safety of visitors (lightening, ice, hail).
